Product Descriptions
Online there won't be a sales person to approach your potential customer and answer questions or make the sale. Each web page should provide all the information the customer will need to make the determination to buy that product. At the same time they should also present the product in a way to encourage the customer to buy using positive calls to action. If possible, when making the descriptions for your products, try to avoid using all the same text the manufacturer uses, and probably the same text most of your competitors will be using. While cutting and pasting the product description from the manufacturer's website is easy, it won't make your website stand out in customer's minds or in the search engines. |
